This study aims to determine the language choice of intermarriage families Indonesian women and Japanese men in Japan, factors that choice, implications choice. The informants this are 8 wives who married living Japan. analysis results show primary used at home is have a dominant role determining family. informants’ mother tongue was deficient only certain situations, namely when angry joking. causes children difficulty communicating with families.
